[_], latex and rock formation sculpture embedded with FSR sensors and Arduino

toucarme::tactileCode

A tactile encoded creature developed at AADK residency in Blanca, Spain. This work used 5 force sensor resistors with a latex sculpture or membrane. The first iteration, in natural and pink latex called 'Bip' was a latex membrane 'tatooed' with the code. Upon recieving pressure on the sensors, a text based output on the serial monitor would commicate bips response. Such as 'ow! you've touched my nipple'. The second iteration, of a blue latex clad rock formation called Guion Bajo (underscore _) was a sculpture form people could roam their hands over with the help of black latex gloves and latex polish. A text based output projected on the rock interface of the mountain repeatly told the user to 'tocáme' - touch me. Each sensor had a differnt pleasure or pain response based on pressure input.
